i hv taken a new Laptop of Compaq Pasario C702Tu model but not getting all Drives.
A: if you don't have the cd you can google your puter name and model number + xp drivers. there are many sites you can find these drivers. also try the hp.com site under downloads.

A: "HP-Compaq has a Presario model laptop - Presario V3611AU. It comes with an AMD Turion Processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 120GB SATA HDD, 8X SuperMulti DVD Writer, 14.1" Widescreen and more. They do not provide drivers for this laptop for any Operating Sysem other than Windows Vista, in their website.

This model of Presario has an audio controller that supports the high
definition audio. You need to have Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture
(UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio installed on the computer
before installing the audio driver.

Installing this driver may result in an error. But continue with the
following steps to get the audio driver installed correctly.
1. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
2. Right click on "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" and click
Update driver.
3. Select "Install from a list or specific location"
4. Click Next. Then select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to
install"
5. Click Next and then select "Sound, video and game controller" from the
list.
6. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
7. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp36408 (or sp33543) folder and then double click the V32
folder. Select the .inf file, click open and Continue with the onscreen
instructions.

A: Well, unless you partition your harddrive and dual boot from both operating systems, you can't install XP over Vista.
You will have to find a bootable XP disk. Format your HDD, and install XP from the CD/DVD.
This is a simplistic description, the process is a lot more involved than this.
As for the hardware drivers, it depends on your BIOS, how new your notebook is. I suggest researching your model on the website.

I believe audio drivers are an optional update so you would have to manually add it to the download Queue.
